If your Cherokee’s front end has play, wanders, or the steering just feels sloppy, tie rods and drag links are often the weakest links. These parts take a lot of abuse—steering, bumps, and larger tires all load them up. Replacing them with good aftermarket pieces is one of the fastest, cheapest ways to tighten things up.

We carry tie rods and drag links built for 1984-2001 XJ Cherokees. The stuff we stock has beefier joints, better materials, and stronger adjuster sleeves so they can deal with lift, bigger tires, and harder trail use without failing. Some owners also upgrade the drag link end joints since those get stressed every time you turn or hit rough terrain.

Upgrading your tie rods/drag link means less steering slop, more consistent alignment, and a more reliable feel behind the wheel. For lifted XJs or rigs with wider tires especially, good steering parts let you drive harder without worrying that your front end is going to wander or wear out prematurely.
